11th ANNUAL GUTHRIE SOCCER TOURNAMENT
(With Refreshments and Music)

The Ithaca United Soccer Club (IUSC) cordially invites you to come participate in the 11th Annual Gordon "Guthrie" Campbell Fundraising Soccer Tournament which is scheduled to hold on the following weekends:

Dates:
April 26 & 27, 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) - Open Tournament & Women's All-Star Game (Battle of the Babes II: Brunettes vs. Blondes)

May 3 & 4, 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) - Coed Tournament

Place: Cass Park Field 3, Ithaca NY (on Rt. 89 by the lake).

Team Fee: $200 - Guaranteed 3 games.

Format is two 25-minute halves, 7 a side. (Coed plays
4 men, 3 women)

Registration Deadline is April 22nd for the open tournament and April 29th for the coed tournament.

The Guthrie Tournament, which is now in its eleventh year, is the ultimate soccer fiesta uniquely blending competitive and fun soccer games with plenty of refreshments and music. The tournament started in 1998 in memory of Gordon Campbell, a longtime resident of Dryden, who died unexpectedly in the fall of 1997. In celebration of his contributions to soccer as a coach, referee, soccer dad, player, team captain, advocate, and organizer, the IUSC requests club members, teams and unattached soccer players to join us for this very special event.
